School Days & Shopping

It was a beautiful place to be. Everybody knew one another and we used to leave our doors open and I mean it was like a village, our own little private village.

Remembering Fourth Ward

People did look out for one another. People helped each other. People loved everybody. The people tried to tell you to go to school... They kept you straight. They kept you in line. It was a loving, loving, loving community. You don’t see this no more.
